Flash Flood Warning Issued For East Baltimore Region
BREAKING: Flooding has been reported in some parts of Baltimore City, County.

BALTIMORE, MD - A flash flood warning has been issued for east Baltimore City and southeastern Baltimore County. The National Weather Service issued the warning, which calls for thunderstorms accompanied by heavy rain that will cause flooding, until 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 21.
More than two inches of rain had already fallen by 3:30 p.m., weather officials said.
The following locations may experience flooding, according to authorities: Baltimore, Middle River, North Point State Park, Sparrows Point, Back River, Millers Island, Dundalk, Essex, Rosedale, Rossville, Bowleys Quarters, Edgemere, Fort Howard, Chase, Eastpoint, Martin State Airport and Turners Station.

Parts of Essex and Middle River had reportedly flooded by 5:45 p.m.
Eastern Avenue experienced significant rainfall in Essex, ABC 2 News reported.

Parts of Middle River also flooded, according to WBAL.

Those in the flash flood warning area should move to higher ground, and people who live near streams and creeks that may overflow their banks should take immediate action to preserve their life and property.

Scattered thunderstorms are also possible on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
