OLMC has a unique Middle School Sports Program

Looking for excellent academic middle school w/ an active sports program? Visit Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in Essex- yes we have a bus!

Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Schools (OLMC) is located in Essex, east Baltimore County. However, students from around the beltway, in the city and some from Harford County make for a very diverse student body. And yes, a bus service can be arranged! OLMC is also unique in that it has an early learning center for children ages 2-3-4. Classroom instruction also includes the Lower School, grades k-5 and the Upper School 6-12, with a designation of grades 6-8 as the middle school.

In recent years, the Upper School has focused on their sports program to complement the academic programs offered. Like most high schools in the area, there are varsity and junior varsity teams in a number of sports. Once again, OLMC is unique as it continues to develop its middle school (6-8) sports program. At this time, there are both boys and girls soccer teams in the fall season along with girls volleyball. In the winter, the middle school Cheer Squad gets active along with boys wrestling as well as boys and girls basketball. And they don’t stop there!

Come spring, the school will activate boys’ baseball and girls’ softball along with both boys’ and girls’ lacrosse teams for the middle school students.
