Point Breeze Credit Union Supports Fight Against Hunger and Identity Theft
Food Drive, Access to Commercial Shredding for Area Residents

This holiday season, Point Breeze Credit Union held successful community initiatives to support the fight against food insecurity and encourage proactive steps to prevent identity theft.
Shred Hunger events at Point Breeze Credit Union’s Hunt Valley, Rosedale and Bel Air locations gave residents access to a massive, commercial document shredder in return for their donations of non-perishable food items. Properly destroying documents containing private information is a critical tool in preventing predators from gaining access to and using secure information to steal your identity or fraud your financial assets.
During the event, more than 337 pounds of food were collected donated to the Maryland Food Bank. Additionally, participants who took advantage of shredding services at all three locations brought in more than 6,400 gallons of now destroyed documents.
