Police Searching for Suspect Who Followed Elderly Man Home From Bank and Robbed Him

The incident took place in Middle River. Photos of the suspect were captured on video surveillance.

Baltimore County police are seeking to identify the person that robbed an elderly man in Middle River on Sept. 9.

Police said just after 5:30 p.m., a 78-year-old man cashed a check at the Wells Fargo Bank on Martin Boulevard.

When he arrived at his home on Compression Court, he was approached by an unknown person who demanded money. The suspect eventually took the money from the victim's pocket.

The victim received minor injuries during the robbery.

An investigation by police detectives determined the suspect followed the victim home from the bank. Pictures of the suspect were captured on video surveillance.

Anyone who may recognize the suspect in the photos or who may have information about the robbery is asked to call police at 410-887-0230.
