The Clear Creeks Project is holding two rain garden workshop and installations in October: Saturday, Oct. 11 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Glenwood Rd. in Bowley’s Quarters and Saturday, Oct. 25 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Wilson Point Rd. in Wilson Point. Participants will learn about the function and design of a garden specifically designed to both capture rain and reduce storm water runoff, while receiving hands-on instruction in the installation and care of a rain garden’s water loving plants.
