Teens Take First Flight

An exciting opportunity to fly for middle and high school students

For middle and high school students who have yet to fly in an airplane as a passenger or pilot, the Glenn L. Martin Maryland Aviation Museum at Martin State Airport in Middle River, MD will be offering throughout the summer and fall “First Flight”, a free five hour workshop engaging students in the discovery of the excitement of flying and exploring Aviation Careers. During this half day program students will have a tour of Museum aircraft, a pre-flight classroom session, explore a general aviation airplane and depart on their first airplane ride. The flight will serve as a motivation to encourage interest in all aspects of aviation and aviation careers. A Certificate of First Flight will be awarded upon completion of the program. For additional Museum information visit www.mdairmuseum.org. To begin the “First Flight” application process call Nancy Zellinger at 410-682-6122.
