Active Shooter Seminar Planned In Joppa

Mountain Christian Church and the Harford County Sheriff's office are offering an active shooter training.

JOPPA, MD — Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler and members of the Harford County Sheriff's Office are hosting an active shooter seminar in Joppa in December. The workshop will provide tips for how to survive an event involving an active shooter incident.

Businesses and church congregations are welcome at the event.

Law enforcement officials will give background on active shooter incidents in the area and provide guidance for what to do if faced with such a scenario.

The event is free to attend. It will be held from 8 a.m. to non on Dec. 14 at Mountain Christian Church, 1824 Mountain Road, Joppa.
