1 Rescued from Crash Near Youths Benefit Elementary School: Officials
Fallston Road was closed for emergency response after crash on Friday afternoon.
FALLSTON, MD — One person was rescued from a crash Friday afternoon in front of Youths Benefit Elementary School. The incident briefly closed Fallston Road and caused subsequent congestion, according to officials.
Before 2 p.m., first responders were at the scene of the collision in the 1900 block of Fallston Road, said Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association spokesman Rich Gardiner.
Fallston Road was closed due to the rescue operation, according to Gardiner, who advised drivers to avoid the area.

By 2:17 p.m., an adult had been rescued and transported to a local facility, according to officials, who said a single lane had reopened on Fallston Road.
