Crash On Route 1 Knocked Out Power: Fallston VFAC

Fire and rescue crews from Fallston said they took two people to the hospital from a crash Sunday morning on Belair Road.

FALLSTON, MD — Two people were hospitalized in a crash Sunday morning on US 1 south of MD 152, according to officials. The crash knocked out power to some in the area, according to the Fallston Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Company.

Crews from Fallston said they were dispatched to Belair at Wilgis roads, where a vehicle had hit an electrical box at 8:19 a.m. on Sunday, April 21.

A lane closure was in effect on northbound Route 1 as BGE personnel and Maryland State Police also responded the collision, according to the Fallston Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Company.
