Fallston Fire: Two Dogs Rescued from Burning House
CPR was required to revive one of the dogs saved from blaze, according to Fallston Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Company.
Two dogs were rescued from a house fire in Fallston Thursday morning that displaced the homeowner, officials said.
The cause of the blaze was accidental, traced to unattended cooking, the Office of the State Fire Marshal reported.
At 2:27 a.m. on Thursday, the homeowner in the 1800 block of Lamont Court notified authorities that there was a fire, the report said.

Crews arrived to find a working fire at the home, where the resident was outside but two small dogs were inside, according to the Fallston Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Company.
First responders rescued the two dogs, one of whom required CPR, according to the report.

Both dogs were taken to the vet, where the one who was revived was listed in critical condition, the report said.
A man in his 70s was taken to a local hospital, where he was in stable condition, according to the report.
Approximately 25 firefighters from Fallston, Bel Air, Joppa-Magnolia, Jarrettsville, Kingsville and Long Green responded, bringing the fire at the rancher-style home under control within 20 minutes, according to officials. Firefighters left the scene at 4:20 a.m., Fallston officials reported.
The fire marshal said the blaze started in the kitchen, where cooking was left unattended.
There was $40,000 in structural damage, according to the fire marshal, who said $20,000 worth of items inside the home were lost as well.
An adult displaced by the fire was being assisted by family, the fire marshal reported.
