Husband Suspected in Fallston Homicide: Harford Sheriff
A man is in custody after his wife was shot in their home in Fallston, officials reported.

FALLSTON, MD — A Fallston woman is deceased after a suspected domestic shooting, officials say.
Lara Muscolino, 48, of the 2300 block of Windswept Court, was shot multiple times Wednesday in the upper body, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
When deputies responded to her home at 11:38 p.m. on Wednesday for a report of a shooting, they rendered first aid until the Fallston Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Company took Muscolino to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries, officials said.

Three children were home at the time of the shooting, and they were all uninjured, officials reported.
Ricardo Muscolino, 54, also of the 2300 block of Windswept Court, turned himself in at the residence and was detained pending further investigation, according to the sheriff's office.

"Investigators continue to investigate a motive; however, preliminary information indicates this was a domestic incident between a husband and wife," the sheriff's office said in a statement.
Lara Muscolino's body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause and manner of death.
