One Rescued from Crash on Belair Road: Officials

A person was reportedly trapped in a vehicle near Belair at Reckord roads Friday evening.

FALLSTON, MD — One person was rescued from a crash in Fallston Friday evening that caused significant delays in the area, according to officials.

The crash occurred after 6 p.m. on Belair Road at Reckord Road, according to Jen Chenworth, spokeswoman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

Belair Road was shut down as crews from the Fallston Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Company worked to free the individual inside the vehicle, Chenworth reported, causing delays during the evening rush hour.

By 6:20 p.m., the individual had been freed and was taken by ambulance for treatment of what Chenworth said were not believed to be life-threatening injuries.
