Amazing Lash Studio Opens First Montgomery County Location

GAITHERSBURG, MD — Amazing Lash Studio, a fast-growing enterprise in the beauty industry, is now open at Gaithersburg's RIO shopping center.

The Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce held a COVID-19 ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday.

"Congratulations to Amazing Lash Studio on the grand opening of their dazzling lash spa in Gaithersburg," said Marilyn Balcombe, the CEO and president of GGCC. "We love to see growth in the Upcounty and want to celebrate that every chance we have."

The studio — located at 20 Grand Corner Ave. — offers lash lifts (read: perm for your lashes) and vegan eyelash extensions. Clients wanting eyelash extensions can choose from one of four styles: "Gorgeous" (longer lashes around the center of the eye); "Natural" (subtle and gradual flare at the outer corner); "Sexy" (longer lashes on the outside edge); and "Cute" (longer lashes at the center of the lash line).

"We are overwhelmed by the reception we have received on our opening day of Amazing Lash and we are so excited to bring this new concept to the Mongomery County area," co-owners Tracee Wood and Kerri Jurimae said in a statement to Patch. "We've received such a warm welcome from the community and surrounding business owners and we look forward to helping women look and feel amazing, one glamour lash at a time."

Studio hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m to 7 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

The Gaithersburg location is one of two outposts in Maryland. A third location is set to open on Norbeck Road in Rockville soon, according to the company's website. In total, Amazing Lash Studio has 260 locations across the country.
