Arts Barn Hosts Jack and the Beanstalk Adventure

GAITHERSBURG, MD — The Gaithersburg Arts Barn, in partnership with the Victorian Lyric Opera Company, will bring the adventurous tale of Jack and the Beanstalk to the Arts Barn stage in late October.

The show will last approximately one hour and will run from Oct. 20 to Oct. 28. Performances will take place on Saturdays and Sundays at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The Barn is located at 311 Kent Square Road. Admission is $15, $12 for youth ages 14 and under. This show is recommended for ages seven and older.

Set to the toe-tapping music of Gilbert and Sullivan, this family-friendly adaptation of the classic fairytale tells the story of Jack’s adventures up the magic beanstalk. Both Jack and the Giant learn an important lesson about how to treat others in this happy-ending performance.
