City Searches for 'Citizen Canine'

Do you think your pup has what it takes to be Gaithersburg's first-ever "Citizen Canine of the Year?"

The city is asking for residents to send in their submissions for the contest. The deadline for submitting pictures is May 14. 

According to a city press release, the contest is intended to "promote visits to City parks and to celebrate the wonderful world of dogs."

Voting for the top prize will begin May 18 on the city's Facebook page. First place will receive a $75 gift card. Second and third place prizes will be awarded, too.
