Disaster Loan Assistance Offered To MoCo Residents, Businesses
Montgomery County will have a Disaster Loan Outreach Center in Gaithersburg for people whose properties were damaged by the July 8 flooding.

GAITHERSBURG, MD — The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is offering low-interest loans to eligible businesses, renters, and homeowners in Montgomery County affected by the July 8 flooding.
Last month, Montgomery County opened a damage assessment portal for people whose property was damaged in the disaster. The data that was collected through the portal, according to officials, helped the county make the case for FEMA disaster assistance.
To help affected business owners and residents apply for SBA Disaster Loans, the county's Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security is holding a Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) at the J. Thomas Manger Public Safety Headquarters (100 Edison Park Dr. in Gaithersburg).
