Fine Art on Main Street during Oktoberfest

Besides the folkloric German and Bavarian music and performances along with specialty food such as bratwurst and beer, make sure to do something cultural and creative. The Framer's Choice Gallery currently showcases the latest paintings of acclaimed artist Vian Borchert. The exhibition is titled "The New Wave". Borchert presents in this exhibition abstracted landscapes and seascapes derived from the artist love to nature. The paintings are executed in Vian's signature painterly touch. Vian's modern vision is captured in paintings such as "The Dam", "Purple Waves", "Calmness", "Perimeter", "Blue Breeze" and others. Also, Vian has added two new paintings especially made for the month of October that ornate the display window of the gallery. The gallery is open and free to the public. The gallery is open this Oktoberfest Oct. 13 from 11 AM - 3 PM. Make sure to stop by and have a look.
All paintings are available for purchase. Borchert's paintings range in all sizes from large to medium to small.
Kentlands' Oktboerst takes place this Sunday Oct. 13.
