Football Primer: Quince Orchard, Gaithersburg Featured in WaPo Top 10 Games of 2013
Gaithersburg area schools are participating in two of The Washington Post's top 10 2013 games to watch in Maryland.
Football season is right around the corner and Gaithersburg area football programs are playing in some high profile games, according to The Washington Post.
In the paper's top 10 Maryland high school football games to watch, Quince Orchard High School is featured twice and Gaithersburg High School once—including the two school's Oct. 25 game at Richard Montgomery.
That matchup—pitting Gaithersburg school versus Gaithersburg school—is ranked No. 7 in the WaPo top 10.
No. 2 on the list is an early season showdown between Quince Orchard and Damascus. The Sept. 20 game will be played at Damascus at 6:30 p.m.
One other Montgomery County matchup made the top 10, with the Oct. 25 matchup of Damascus and Seneca Valley being featured at No. 9.
