Free Dog, Cat Food Distribution Event Held In Gaithersburg

GAITHERSBURG, MD — A dog and cat food distribution event is planned for Tuesday afternoon at MANNA Food Center in Gaithersburg.

Cash-strapped residents can pick up chow for their pets at 2 Teachers Way from 2 to 5 p.m.

The event is part of Regency Pet LLC's four-week program that distributes free dog and cat food throughout the Baltimore-Washington region.

"Our mission at Regency Relief is to honor the pets that bring so much joy and unconditional love to our lives. It is both our privilege and duty to help pet families in their time of need," Scott Buttz, COO of the pet aftercare services provider, said. "Right now, we are living through a global crisis and we want to extend a hand to any local pet owners who need support in giving their furry family members the very best during these uncertain times."
