Gaithersburg Crime: Smash and Grab Burglary At Walnut Hill Exxon and More
The following information was provided by the Montgomery County Police Department. Arrests or charges do not indicate a conviction.

Montgomery County police released a crime summary for April 15 through April 23. The following incidents were reported in Gaithersburg:
- A theft occurred in the unit block of Russell Avenue on Tuesday, April 16, between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Property was taken from outside the residence.
- A commercial burglary occurred at the Motel 6, located at 497 Quince Orchard Boulevard, on Thursday, April 18, just after 11 p.m. Entry was forced and nothing was taken.
- A residential burglary occurred in the 19100 block of Mills Choice Road in Montgomery Village between Saturday, April 20, at 4 p.m., and Sunday, April 21, at 3 p.m. Entry to the home was not forced and property was taken.
- A commercial smash and grab burglary occurred at the Walnut Hill Exxon, located at 16425 South Frederick Avenue, on Sunday, April 21, around 1:45 a.m. It's unclear what was taken.
- An attempted armed robbery occurred at George Street and Cedar Avenue on Sunday, April 21, around 2:30 a.m. The suspects assaulted the victim and unsuccessfully attempted to remove property.
- A strong-arm robbery occurred in the area of Contour Road and Horizon Run Road in Montgomery Village on Tuesday, April 23, just after 5 p.m.
