Gaithersburg Resident Wins $1M From Liquor Store Scratch-Off
One lucky customer in Gaithersburg is now a millionaire, winning from a $5,000 Loaded scratch-off. A Silver Spring resident won $185K.
GAITHERSBURG, MD — Brighton's Beer and Wine sold a $5,000 Loaded scratch-off ticket that won the customer, nicknamed "Mr. Low Key," $1 million.
Mr. Low Key, 50, told lottery officials that he's won some prizes before — even some up to $10,000 — and the Beer and Wine is his favorite place to play. When he saw that he had won $1 million, he went back into the store just to double check with the clerk that he wasn't mistaken.
“I said, ‘Keep it quiet,’ then I put it in my pocket and went home,” Mr. Low Key told the Maryland Lottery.
