Gaithersburg Water Park to End General Season

The Gaithersburg Water Park will close out its summer season on September 3 but will offer Labor Day hours to residents and members.

From the City of Gaithersburg: The Gaithersburg Water Park at Bohrer Park will close out its summer season on Sunday, September 3, but City residents and Aquatics Members can enjoy the Water Park one last time with exclusive use on Labor Day Monday, September 4. The Water Park is located at 512 South Frederick Avenue, next to Gaithersburg High School. The Skate Park and Miniature Golf Course adjacent to the Water Park will both be open to the public on Labor Day Monday.

Throughout the season, City residents and members have exclusive access to the Water Park starting at 11 a.m. on weekends and holidays. Daily admission for City of Gaithersburg residents is $5.75. Nonresident admission is $10 Monday through Thursday and $16 Fridaythrough Sunday and on holidays. Note that the pool closes 15 minutes prior to the posted closing time. Patrons must vacate the Water Park within 15 minutes of the posted closing time.

Indoor swimming is available year round at the Gaithersburg Aquatic Center, located at 2 Teachers Way next to Gaithersburg Middle School. For Water Park and Aquatic Center schedules, admission fees, putt-n-pool passes and money-saving season passes call 301-258-6445 or visit the City’s website.
