Goldfish Swim School Opens Third MoCo Location In Gaithersburg

GAITHERSBURG, MD — Goldfish Swim School, a national water safety and swim lesson school franchise, is now open in Gaithersburg.

This is Goldfish's third location in Montgomery County — with the first being in Silver Spring, and the second being in Rockville.

The new 8,628-square-foot aquatics facility, located at 801 Center Point Way, provides indoor, year-round swim instruction to children ages four months to 12 years old. Class sizes are limited to four students per lifeguard-certified instructor.

"We understand how important water safety is to all families and we are thrilled to bring the Goldfish curriculum, high-quality instruction, and state-of-the-art facility to more families. Our team wants to ensure that children have a safe, fun, and friendly place to learn this life-saving skill," said General Manager Zachary Healy.

The Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony last week.

"It's always great to see businesses opening at any time, but it's even greater that we have businesses opening during this difficult time," said GGCC President and CEO Marilyn Balcombe.

Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends.
