Montgomery County Business Briefing Hosted On May 21: How To RSVP
Montgomery County residents affected by the pandemic can join Councilmember Sidney Katz's business briefing on May 21. Here's how to RSVP.
GAITHERSBURG, MD — Montgomery County Councilmember Sidney Katz will soon be hosting a business briefing on Zoom for community members affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
The virtual meeting — set to take place on Friday at 12:30 p.m — will feature Jillian Copeland, owner of Rockville's Soulfull Café, and Roxana Rojas, owner of We Art Fun in Germantown. The guests will share their experiences opening a business or changing its model during uncertain times, like the COVID-19 pandemic.
"While many businesses in our County closed due to the pandemic, our two guests managed to open businesses during this past year," Katz said. "It is important to highlight these businesses and show that a pandemic cannot stop our business community from continuing to grow, despite all challenges."
