The New Wave Continues

Words by artist Vian Borchert illustrating her latest “New Wave” collection of paintings currently on exhibit at the Framer’s Choice Gallery in Kentlands, Gaithersburg for the Fall season.

"The New Wave” is a solo art exhibition by acclaimed international artist Vian Shamounki Borchert. In “The New Wave”, Borchert presents to the public her latest abstracts which are executed in the artist’s signature painterly touch. Cohesive minimal and modern paintings varying in sizes, and medium on all is acrylic on canvas. The exhibition hopes to transport the viewer to the feelings of re-energy and relaxation upon viewing the blue toned abstracted seascape and water-oriented paintings by which the artist was inspired from her travels to the ocean and taking in the majestic seascape views and the sea breeze.
