Only Porch, Basement Left After Home Collapse: PHOTOS
Four workers renovating a Silver Spring home were lucky to escape the structure's collapse without injury.

Four construction workers escaped injury when the Silver Spring house they were renovating totally collapsed.
The accident happened Tuesday morning in the 800 block of Easley Street in Silver Spring, authorities said. No injuries were reported.

Four workers were on-site at the time, but all escaped without harm.
Pete Piringer, public information officer for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services, said on Twitter that only the home’s porch and basement remained after the building collapse.

A building inspector was called to the scene; there has been no report on a cause of the home’s collapse.
