Third Write-In Candidate Qualified To Run In Nov. 5 Election
Gaithersburg has certified a third-write-in candidate for the city's Nov. 5 election.
GAITHERSBURG, MD — A third Gaithersburg resident has qualified to run as a write-in candidate in the city's Nov. 5 election.
The Gaithersburg Board of Supervisors of Elections certified Carol Johnson as a write-in candidate on Tuesday — which means there are now six people vying for three seats on city council.
Three of them are incumbents: Neil Harris, Ryan Spiegel, and Robert Wu. Their terms of office expire in November. And their candidacies were certified by the city in August.
