Vine Hits 13 Million Users: Who's Vine-ing in Montgomery County?
Vine, an app that lets users create 7-second videos, hit 13 million users in a few months.

Â
Even as social media trends go, use of Vine—the micro-video blogging iPhone app acquired by Twitter this year—has exploded.Â
In a blog post announcing that the app's availability on Android phones, Twitter said 13 million users have already signed up for the 5-month-old service. About 12 million of those users upload videos regularly, The New York Times reported.Â

The snippy, immediate nature of Vine—all videos are less than seven seconds in length—are attracting users in the same way that Instagram and Tumblr have snagged attention from longer-form media like Facebook and traditional blogs, The Times noted.
