Chesterbrook Academy Students Donate Food to Local Families

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Germantown recently held a food drive and collected 9 large bags of food to benefit Manna Food Center in Gaithersburg. Over the past few weeks, students worked together to collect nonperishable food items to help feed local children and families in need during the holidays. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of giving back to the community, especially during the holiday season.

Manna Food Center works to fight hunger, feed hope and transition Montgomery County residents from a place of scarcity to prosperity by providing safe, sufficient and nutritious food.
