Clarksburg Liquor Store Reopens After Worker Gets COVID-19

A Clarksburg liquor store was temporarily closed because an employee tested positive for COVID-19. It's set to reopen Wednesday afternoon.

GERMANTOWN, MD — The Clarksburg Village Liquor and Wine store reopened Wednesday afternoon after it was temporarily closed because an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

Montgomery County's Alcohol Beverage Services (ABS) was made aware of the positive test on Sunday, Jan. 10, according to a press release, and the store was closed immediately.

The Clarksburg Village Liquor and Wine, located at 12051 Chestnut Branch Way, reopened at 12 p.m.
