Construction Begins January for New Germantown Apartments

195-unit development slated for Leaman Farm Road

Construction on a 195-unit apartment community on Leaman Farm Road is expected to begin in January 2013, Bozzuto Construction Company announced Monday.

The community—Kingsview Village Apartments—will be built on 10 acres within the southwest quadrant of Germantown and Leaman Farm roads, county planning records show.

The apartment complex will cost $20 million to build and is expected to be complete by spring 2014, according to Bozzuto, the company in charge of construction.

The community will be comprised of three buildings, garages, a clubhouse and a pool and would be within arm’s reach of The Park at Kingsview Village.

Developers planned to set aside 60 of the new apartments as affordable housing units, according to the application developers submitted to the county.
