County Offers Free Bus Service To Germantown Vaccination Site
Montgomery County has launched a free bus service between the Shady Grove Metro station and the Montgomery College mass vaccination site.

GERMANTOWN, MD — Montgomery County is now offering free Ride On bus service between the Shady Grove Metro station and the mass vaccination site at Montgomery College's Germantown campus.
The shuttle service, marked "Vaccine Shuttle," is for residents aged 16 and above who have a vaccine appointment at 20200 Observation Drive. Buses run every 30 minutes between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. from Bay H on the east side of the Shady Grove Metro station. Pick-ups and drop-offs at Montgomery College are in front of the Bioscience Education Center (see map).
All passengers are required to wear a face covering while on the bus. Masks will be given to those who don't have their own.

Residents can preregister for a COVID-19 vaccination on the county's vaccine website at montgomerycountymd.gov/COVID19/vaccine.
As of May 3, 564,356 county residents (53.7 percent) have received their first dose of the vaccine. A total of 397,148 residents (37.8 percent) have already gotten their second and final shot.
