GERMANTOWN, MD — A free event focusing on substance misuse treatment and mental health care will be held online next week.

Next week's meeting will feature two speakers: Latonia and Ed "Bunny" Rich, co-founders of a recovery assistance organization called Tree of Hope. Both in long-term recovery, Latonia and Ed will address the devastating impact that addiction can have on people and explain the benefits of using the support of peer specialists.
