Germantown Restaurants Cited: 7-Eleven, Subway, Sugarloaf Wine

GERMANTOWN, MD — Was your favorite local restaurant inspected this week? Check up on Germantown eatery inspections and see how restaurants near you score.

County inspectors do two kinds of checks: one is comprehensive and mainly looks for sanitation and maintenance operations, while the other focuses on monitoring critical food and equipment temperatures, general food handling and cleanliness. Some inspections are done following a complaint reported to the Licensure and Regulatory Office in the Department of Health and Human Services of Montgomery County.

County inspectors typically visit each facility once or twice per year, depending on complaints and food handling practices.
