In 2019, Northwest made it to the state championship game but lost to Wise 35-14.
"(The players) were willing to work hard, get good grades, be respectful, and be positive leaders in our school. In return for their dedication, our players were rewarded with victories and sometimes championships," Neubeiser said. "It's not a coincidence that the most successful teams were the most dedicated and disciplined groups. It's amazing how football is a microcosm of real life."
