Holiday Tree Lighting Festival Set For Nov. 23

Clarksburg Premium Outlets is holding its annual Holiday Tree Lighting Festival​ on Saturday, Nov. 23. Here's the schedule of events.

GERMANTOWN, MD — A 40-foot tree, adorned with hundreds of twinkling lights, will shine bright on Saturday, Nov. 23 during Clarksburg Premium Outlets' annual Holiday Tree Lighting Festival.

This year's eight-hour celebration starts at noon, and will include a holiday card photo booth and performances from the Salvation Army Brass Band, Victorian carolers, and the Metropolitan Ballet Theatre and Academy.

Shoppers can also visit the Salvation Army Angel Tree, help give gifts to children in need, and donate to Children's National Hospital at one of the Light Up Dr. Bears located around the shopping center.

Just in time for the holidays, Clarksburg Premium Outlets will be giving one lucky shopper a $500 shopping spree.

  • Street Performers & Local School Musical Groups: Throughout the day
  • Salvation Army Brass Band: 4-5 p.m.
  • Holiday Caroling Concert: 5-6 p.m.
  • Tree Lighting and Nutcracker Performance by Metropolitan Ballet Theatre and Academy: Approx. 6:30 p.m.
  • $500* Shopping Spree Winner Announced: Directly following the Tree Lighting Performance at approx. 7 p.m.
