Hypnotic Brass Ensemble Headlines The Opening of 2017-2018 Black Rock Anniversary Season

BlackRock Center for the Arts has announced its 15th Anniversary Season, which kicks off the with the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble on October 6.

From Black Rock Center: BlackRock Center for the Arts has just announced their 15thAnniversary 2017-2018 Season which kicks off the with the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble onFriday, October 6, 2017 at 8:00PM. Sons of the great jazz trumpeter Phil Cohran, the Hypnotic Brass Band is revolutionizing the sounds of hip-hop, jazz, funk, and rock with their soul-shaking horns and heart-thumping drum beats. Growing up in a musical household in Chicago, the seven brothers were surrounded by music and the inspiration to plan. The Ensemble has collaborated and performed with many legendary artists such as Mos Def, Gorillaz, Wu Tang Clan, Prince, and others.
