Little Leaves Behavioral Facility For Kids Now Open In Germantown
Little Leaves — a company that caters to kids with social, communication, and behavioral challenges — is now open in Germantown.
GERMANTOWN, MD — A new behavioral health facility has opened in Germantown.
Little Leaves — a company that caters to children seeking help with social, communication, and behavioral challenges — set up shop at 20400 Observation Drive on Dec. 4. The network of health centers, which is accredited through the Behavioral Health Centers of Excellence, also has locations in Silver Spring and the D.C. area.
At Little Leaves, children ages 1 to 6 undergo a type of treatment called Applied Behavioral Analysis. Run in a pre-school-like setting, the program is designed to help children reduce their symptoms of autism by improving their communication, play, social, and school-readiness skills.

Plans are tailored to children's specific needs and goals.
The 10,075-square-foot center in Germantown includes specialized therapy spaces and an outdoor play area.

"As Little Leaves continues to expand, our compassionate and dedicated team is able to not only serve more children with autism and other challenges through proven programs but also help enrich the communities where they live," said Marina Major, president of Little Leaves Behavioral Services. "We value being a resource for families and take pride in creating customized therapeutic plans for each child to meet their needs."
Planning and construction is underway for additional locations in Maryland, Virginia, and Florida.
