The Montgomery County Police Department said it believes members of the public have information about the killing of Russell Troy Huffman.

GERMANTOWN, MD — Anyone with information leading to an arrest in the January killing of Russell Troy Huffman could receive up to $10,000 in reward money, the Montgomery County Police Department said Tuesday. They said investigators believe that there are members of the public who have information about the killing.

Huffman, 38, was shot and killed in his apartment on Frederick Road in Germantown. Police responded to calls about a man not breathing in his apartment and found Huffman, who had been shot in the upper body, they said. He was pronounced dead in his apartment.
