GERMANTOWN, MD — The vaccination site at the Germantown campus of Montgomery College will open next week — operating as a county-run site before turning into a state-supported clinic.

While run by Montgomery County, officials say the site will have the capacity to administer 1,500 doses a day between Monday and Friday. Doses will come out of the county's allotment until the state can get more vaccines from the federal government.

Once Maryland receives more shots from the Biden administration, the site will be supported by the state and will operate every day, according to county officials.
