National Sewing Day Honors America's Veterans and Armed Forces
Local volunteers commemorate Veterans' service to America
Germantown, MD- The MSP Quilting Angels are hosting the Quilts of Valor Foundation (QOVF.org) National Sew Day on February 2, 2019 at Mother Seton Parish in Germantown, MD.
The FREE event open to the public begins at 9 AM and runs until 3 PM with continuous demonstrations of sewing techniques and active participation of sewing to create Quilts of Valor for America's Veterans and armed forces.
The event provides an opportunity to quilters, sewing enthusiasts and leaders of youth organizations to see first hand how they too might serve America's Veterans and active duty military.
