Patient First Clinic Opens In Germantown

GERMANTOWN, MD — A new urgent care facility has opened in Germantown.

Patient First — a Virginia-based company that provides urgent and primary care services — set up shop Thursday at Milestone Center on Frederick Road. The Germantown location is the 19th Patient First in the Washington, D.C. metro area and the 23rd in Maryland.

Patient First accepts walk-in appointments for patients in need of urgent and primary care services every day of the year, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The heath care facility at 21044 Frederick Rd. offers a range of on-site services, including:

• An X-ray department staffed by radiologic technologists
• A government-certified lab staffed by lab professionals
• Prescriptions for many common urgent care conditions
• Nebulizer treatments for mild to moderate asthma attacks
• Intravenous (IV) hydration
• Electrocardiogram (EKG)
