Police to Tweet Redskins Game-Time Traffic in Real Time

Even with a 5-6 record the Washington Redskins are in first place in the NFC East, so expect big crowds and traffic jams Monday when they play the Dallas Cowboys at FedEx Field.
The Prince George’s County Police Department is gearing up to help NFL fans heading to the game, as well as commuters trying to avoid a traffic nightmare.
On Monday afternoon, the department will offer real-time traffic information from FedEx Field via Twitter. You can follow the department’s hashtag #PGPDGameTime at @PGPDNews.

Kickoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET and the game will be televised on ESPN.
Washington and New York are now tied for the NFC-East lead at 5-6, but Washington currently owns the better division record — Washington is 2-1 while the Giants are 2-3.
