Registration Open for Virtual Arts Program BlackRock In A Box

Young artists will love this virtual visual arts program, BlackRock In A Box! Each week a BlackRock box of art tools and materials are inspired by a theme, phrase, or art concept. Students come together with a BlackRock Teaching Artist, Anjali Wells, for a lesson that will develop art skills and concepts such as drawing, painting, and sculpting as well as expression and interpretation of the theme. Instruction will be virtually delivered daily by a certified art instructor and conclude with a gallery walk and discussion. Young artists should prepare up to 3 hours of engagement daily learning, art and connecting with peers. This program is designed for students in Grades 3-5. Materials will be available to pick up with safe social distancing at BlackRock, 12901 Town Commons Drive, Germantown.
