Report: Loose Concrete Injures Germantown Boy

A slab of concrete fell from a wall and pinned the child down.

An 8-year-old Germantown boy is recovering from severe injuries after a slab of loose concrete fell and pinned him to the ground, The Washington Post reported.

The concrete fell after the boy and his brother jumped down from a stone wall where they had been sitting near Father Hurley Boulevard and Crystal Rock Drive, the newspaper reported. Both of his legs were broken, one requiring surgery.
