GERMANTOWN, MD — All lanes have reopened on northbound I-270 at Exit 15A after a pedestrian was struck by a dump truck Monday afternoon, officials said.

Pete Piringer, spokesman for the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, said the incident happened around noon. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The collision temporarily closed three northbound lanes along I-270. The Maryland State Highway Administration now say the lanes have reopened.
