Topgolf Now Open In Germantown
Topgolf, a popular sports and entertainment venue, is now open in Germantown.
GERMANTOWN, MD — Topgolf, a Dallas-based sports and entertainment complex, is now open in Germantown.
Located at 20101 Century Blvd., the three-level, 65,000-square-foot space opened its doors Friday morning and is the brand's second outpost in Maryland. The first one is at the National Harbor.
"Topgolf Germantown is our first venue to open in 2020 and will kick off another year of growth for the brand," said Topgolf CEO Dolf Berle. "Germantown is a true live, work and play community, and we are thrilled to not only bring jobs and revenue to this growing area, but also access to the innovative entertainment experiences that only Topgolf can offer."

Topgolf markets itself as a lively, non-intimidating sports and entertainment complex that both golfers and non-golfers can enjoy. Players can hit microchipped golfballs that instantly show their performance data, enroll in social leagues and tournaments, and sign up for lessons.
The newest location has 102 hitting bays, seasonal menu items, live music, and year-round programming for all ages in a climate-controlled outdoor space.

Topgolf in Germantown is expected to add more than 500 jobs, according to the company.
