Upcounty Consolidation Hub at BlackRock: "Defining Community"

The Montgomery County Council has beautifully told the story of how BlackRock is giving back to the community that has supported it for so long. We are very grateful for the efforts of the Montgomery County Council's Communications Office in producing an informative and moving video that tells you why and how our award-winning art gallery was transformed in April into the Upcounty Consolidation Hub at BlackRock.

"BlackRock has always felt the support of so many people in upper Montgomery County. In these challenging and uncertain times, it's important that we step forward and give back to the community that generously supports BlackRock," said Lynn Arndt, BlackRock's CEO.

The Upcounty Hub is supported by nearly a dozen partner organizations and more than 100 volunteers who deliver much needed items to hundreds of families and individuals in need every week.

"This is about all of us coming together and acknowledging our neighbors and saying, 'You're not alone.' The Hub is a labor of love, pure love," said Grace Rivera-Oven, Upcounty Hub Co-Founder.
