Beltsville Home Basement Catches Fire on Columbus Day
The fire-damaged home is on Odell Road.
A fire broke out in the basement of a single family home in Beltsville early Monday, according to Prince George's County Fire/EMS Spokesman Mark Brady. Fire units were dispatched at 3:15 a.m., Brady stated.
The home is a one-story dwelling on Odell Road and the fire loss was placed at around $8,000 for the structure and contents, according to Brady.

There were no injuries, Brady stated. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
