Child Porn Charges Filed Against Greenbelt Man
The Greenbelt suspect is charged with distributing child porn and more charges are pending, authorities said.

GREENBELT, MD — Maryland State Police investigators from the Maryland Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested a Prince George’s County man Thursday on child pornography-related charges.
The suspect is identified as Rodney White, 50, of the 6900 block of Hanover Parkway in Greenbelt. White was charged with possession of child pornography, displaying obscene matter to a minor and distributing child pornography. Further charges are pending.
Earlier this year, investigators with the Maryland Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force developed information about the potential distribution of child pornography online.

During the investigation, White was identified as the suspect and a search warrant was served at his residence early Thursday by Maryland State Police Computer Crimes Unit investigators, state troopers from the College Park Barrack, agents from Homeland Security Investigations and officers from the Greenbelt Police Department.
Officer seized various digital media storage devices during the search of White's residence. Evidence will be submitted to the Maryland State Police Digital Forensics Lab for analysis.

White was taken to Prince George’s County Central Booking for processing and a hearing before a District Court commissioner.
